Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico was born into the music-loving parents of her family. Her childhood was spent listening to classical, old boleros and traditional romantic, ranchero as well as romance ballads. Ana is passionate about singing tangos as well as operas. Also, she loves drama performances. Ana began learning and singing music with her mother, she began her more intensive vocal training at the age of 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. Her musical education continued through the School of Music of Guadalajara University. She then attended the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The singer performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities, both as a scholar and professional. In the years following her relocation to America in the year 2000, she joined a chorus of United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current residence in southern California. The singer currently sings classical Latin American songs at private performances as a soloist. As a musician and teacher she's committed to several community initiatives due to her enthusiasm as well as a love of music. Ana was also a singer in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her passion and love for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of to, particularly in the younger age group for keeping this tradition of music lively and alive.Viva Mexico!
