Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress, best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. She first began her career as a performer during the 80s. She became famous for the film Tezaab starring the veteran actor Anil Kooor. Her next appearance was in Dil in which she starred alongside Aamir. In Mumbai her home, she grew up by middle class parents. At a very young age, she began to learn dance. She began acting when she was an infant and was struggling through a couple of years since most of her initial film projects were unsuccessful. Eventually she became one the biggest actresses of Indian film. Following her wedding the actress took time off from acting prior to returning. In the last few years, Dixit was a key player in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit has received 15 Filmfare Awards nominations, of which she took home eight. She was also honored with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honour in India. She is known for her social works as well.
